Mandara Goes Deep in the Tank

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Ryan Mandara
Ryan Mandara

Ryan Mandara raised from under the gun to 400,000 with {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and Recep Aydemir called in the cutoff with {a-Spades}{q-Spades}. Eli Saad also defended the big blind holding {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and they went three-handed to the {3-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{q-Hearts} flop.

Mandara bet 385,000 with his top pair and Aydemir called, while Saad got out of the way. The {a-Hearts} on the turn improved Aydemir to two pair as both players checked to the {5-Diamonds} river.

Mandara led out for 200,000 before Aydemir raised to 700,000. Mandara used five time bank cards as he tanked for several minutes before he called as Aydemir took down the pot.

Evgenii Katymaev Eliminated in 9th Place ($18,200)

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Evgenii Katymaev
Evgenii Katymaev

Evgenii Katymaev raised to 400,000 from early position with {a-Spades}{10-Hearts} and John Doe called from the button holding {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}.

The {10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop gave Katymaev top pair, but Doe had hit a set of fours. Katymaev bet 550,000 and Doe just called to see the {6-Hearts} turn.

Katymaev moved all in for 2,075,000 and Doe snap-called. "Dead," Katymaev said after seeing Doe's set. The meaningless river was the {j-Clubs} and Katymaev was the first casualty of the final table.

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

John Doe raised to 400,000 from under the gun with {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} before Recep Aydemir, next to act, three-bet to 1,150,000 with {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}.

David Hu looked down at {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} in middle position but decided to fold as action went back around to Doe. "Show if I fold," Doe asked.

"Fold or call," Aydemir replied.

"Pass," Doe said as Aydemir showed his hand. "You better than me," Doe continued.

Doe Applying Pressure

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

John Doe raised to 600,000 from early position with {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}. Paul Browne had {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and gave it some thought before folding as Doe took the pot uncontested.

The next hand, Doe raised again, this time to 500,000 with {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. Ryan Mandara defended his big blind with {6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and they went heads-up to a {9-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} flop.

Mandara quickly checked and folded when Doe continued for 500,000.

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Recep Aydemir picked up {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} under the gun and raised to 450,000. Action folded around to Michele Guerrini in the small blind who looked down at {6-Hearts}{6-Spades} and gave it some thought before folding.

John Doe, in the big blind, woke up with {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} and put in a three-bet to 2,500,000. Aydemir used a time bank before folding his two nines.

"Do you want me to show," Doe asked Aydemir before showing his two aces.

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

David Hu raised to 400,000 under the gun with {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and Recep Aydemir called in the small blind holding {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, as did Paul Browne in the big blind with {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}.

Aydemir and Browne both hit top pair on the {9-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop as all three players checked. The turn came the {4-Clubs} and Aydemir led out for 850,000.

Browne didn't take too long before folding his pair of aces, while Hu also gave up his kings as Aydemir took the pot.
