Dori Yacoub

Anton Morgenstern raised to 350,000 from the cutoff and was called by Dori Yacoub in the big blind.

The flop came {6-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, Yacoub check-called the 350,000 continuation-bet of Morgenstern.

The turn was the {9-Hearts}, Yacoub checked again and Morgenstern shoved with the bigger stack. Yacoub tanked for a while, counted out his stack which was worth around 1,800,000, and then put a stack for the call.

Dori Yacoub: {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Anton Morgenstern: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

They had both flopped a pair but Morgenstern was ahead with the higher pair of kings so Yacoub already got up from his chair.

The {2-Hearts} completed the board on the river to seal the deal for Morgenstern and Yacoub would be the first player to benefit from the payjump. Yacoub collected $41,565 for finishing in 12th place.

Duta Goes Almost All-in

Level 27 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Andreas Christoforou
Andreas Christoforou

Ludovic Geilich raised to 285,000 from the cutoff and was called by Andreas Christoforou on the button. Florian Duta three-bet to 3,000,000, leaving himself with 115,000 behind. Basil Yaiche quickly folded his big blind and so did Geilich. Christoforou tanked, counted out his stack, asked the dealer to count Duta's bet, and wanted to see how much Duta had behind.

"Can I go to the toilet?" Selahaddin Bedir asked Christoforou as he was tanking for a while.

"Yes, go, go!" Christoforou replied, "I need a lot of time".

"Can I go too?" Duta said with a laugh and Christoforou smiled.

Christoforou was contemplating his options for a bit longer and Bedir returned: "Now you can pass!".

"Or call..." Christoforou commented.

After a while, Christoforou opted to let his hand go.

"Pick one," Duta offered.

"King!" Yaiche predicted.

Christoforou picked the left card which was the {k-Hearts}.
