Play Resumes

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Johan Rensink was still collecting his pot in the previous hand when Shyngis Satubayev paid the big blind and ante. Rensink accidentally also collected one of the two 25,000 chips. The chip has been returned to Satubayev for play to resume.

Tournament Clock Paused

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

A discussion has arisen about the ante or big blind which has disappeared when Shyngis Satubayev was in the big blind as he claimed to have paid both but only one chip of 25,000 was still visible. Satubayev is short so the clock has been paused so the cameras can be checked to see what has happened.

Steve O'Dwyer completed his small blind and Frederico Silva opted to check.

The turn paired up with the {j-Diamonds}, O'Dwyer checked again, Silva grabbed chips and bet 115,000. O'Dywer glanced over and made the call.

The river completed the board with the {4-Clubs}, O''Dwyer checked for the last time, Silva fired a bet of 275,000 which was slightly less than O'Dwyer's stack. O'Dwyer looked at the board and then at Silva for some tells or signs of what to do. O'Dwyer went through the options in his head and then decided to call. Silva tabled {8-Clubs}{7-Spades} for the bluff. O'Dwyer quickly flipped over {7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for two pair to scoop the pot.

Paqué continued again and raised to 40,000 from the early position. Paraskevas Tsokaridis called in the cutoff and Steve O'Dwyer defended his big blind. The flop came {2-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}, they all checked through it to the {j-Spades} on the turn. A bet of Tsokaridis got the rest to fold.

Tsokaridis limped in from the hijack and Frederico Silva opted to check. The flop came {a-Spades}{5-Spades}{a-Clubs}, Silva check-called the 20,000 bet of Tsokaridis to see the {6-Diamonds} on the turn. Silva quickly checked again and Tsokaridis pushed 135,000 over the line which was enough for Silva to fold.

Steve O'Dwyer raised to 40,000 on the button and Paqué defended his big blind. The flop came {3-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades}, they both checked through to the {q-Diamonds} on the turn. They both checked again for the {5-Spades} to complete the board. Paqué took his time and then decided to bet 160,000. O'Dwyer contemplated for a bit and then opted to fold.
