Johan "busto_soon" van Til Bubbles the 2016 Master Classics of Poker Main Event

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Johan van Til
Johan van Til

With Rens Pleijster no longer at immediate risk, Johan van Til was the one the shortest.

Action folded to Jan Bendik on the button and the EPT Grand Final champion, who picked up a lot of pots on the bubble, raised to 11,000. The small blind folded and big blind Johan van Til moved in for 14,500. Bendik called instantly by tossing in some 1,000-chips.

It took awhile before the cards were on their back. After a player on the other table doubled, it was time for Bendik and Van Til to show their cards.

Jan Bendik: {K-Spades}{J-Spades}
Johan van Til: {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

The flop was a harmless {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{8-Spades}. The {J-Hearts} on the turn, however, was anything but a blank and Van Til got up, still straight faces.

As the {K-Clubs} completed the board, Van Til shook hands with Bendik and some cheering could be heard, mostly from the rail that had been watching and drinking for some time.

The remaining 53 players are guaranteed a min cash, Johan van Til the last player to leave the tournament empty-handed.
