Verheul Jams on Mozaffarian

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Amir Mozaffarian raised to 11,000 and called the three-bet of Marcel Verheul for 25,000 to see the heads-up flop of {6-Spades}?{8-Hearts}?{2-Diamonds}. Mozaffarian check-called a continuation bet of 50,000 and the {4-Spades} on the turn was checked through. The {3-Spades} river saw the German checking once again and Verheul immediately went all in.

The dealer counted the stack of the Dutchman and it was 108,500, more than half of the remaining stack of Mozaffarian. He tanked for a few minutes and the clock was called on him. With 15 seconds to go, Mozaffarian mucked his cards and Verheul scooped the pot.
