Day 1b of the Lex Live Main Event, running at Casino Barcelona, has now reached its conclusion. A total of 92 entries were made to the flight and 25 players bagged and tagged for Day 2.
Jaume Alomar of Spain topped the field and bagged 273,000 chips. Alomar is a regular on the local circuits around Spain and has five figure scores under his name, including a third place finish in the Estrellas Poker Tour back in 2012 worth 50,000 and a string of more recent, albeit smaller cashes.
Close behind in second place is Pablo Garcia, also from Spain, with 266,000. Garcia is on track for his biggest cash if he can grow his stack throughout Day 2.
All the way from Australia, Damiano Aloi finished the flight in third place with 237,000. Aloi has plenty of experience locking up cashes in Australia and only has a handful of scores on this side of the pond, which came from Lex Live London in 2019. The football manager and poker Twitch streamer is all set for a much bigger score in this year's edition of the event.

Lex Veldhuis also jumped in the mix, late registering for the Main Event, losing a few small pots, doubling up, then losing an all-in after reshoving from the big blind.
Jordi Granell Diaz of Spain, who topped Day 1a, still stands as the overall chip leader with 313,000 with one more flight to go.
The are now 235 combined entries and the prize pool currently stands at 91,650, with 60 players already through.
Day 1c is expected to be the busiest flight, so those numbers should balloon by the time late registration closes at the start of Day 2.
