Gottner Pushed Off His Hand
Action has slowed considering one more elimination will bring about the end of the day. In a recent hand, a player in the cutoff raised to 16,000 only to have the chip leader, Nicolas Fierro Gottner, reraise to 40,000 from the button.
When action got back to the cutoff, he moved all in for 92,000 more. Gottner went into the tank over the decision. He certainly had the chips to call, but he would be crippled if he lost. After taking a quick inventory of his own stack, he slowly slid his cards into the muck. His stack also slid to 360,000.
