Messing With Fire
Action folded to the button who put in a raise to 2,500. Our chip leader, Nicolas Fierro Gottner, was in the small blind and refused to let his chips go so easily. He decided to raise to 6,500 and was quite surprised when the big blind moved all-in for around 50,000. The button quickly folded and action was back on Gottner. He certainly could have afforded to make the call but instead tossed his hand into the muck.
The big blind then showed . Could showing such a marginal hand to the chip leader be a good idea? We'll have to wait and see if the fireworks continue at Gottner's table.
