"I think you can say it in English," Chan said, but Mayrinck decided to go the safe route and say everything in both English and her native Portuguese.
Her raise to 300 got one caller. Mayrinck fired 400 at the flop, and her opponent called again. But he folded to her next bet after the turn. "My first pot, and it's a big one," she smiled.
