Otto Sniffs Out Bluff and Busts Spragg in Four-Bet Pot

Level 7 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Marle Spragg
Marle Spragg

Ryan Otto opened the action from the cutoff by raising to 1,200. Marle Spragg was on the button and made it 3,600 to go, which Otto upped to 10,000 once the action folded back around to him. Spragg obliged and put in the necessary chips to see a flop.

The flop was {2-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Otto put out a continuation-bet of 4,500, which Spragg quickly called. The {5-Hearts} turn saw little action, as both players checked.

On the {8-Hearts} river Otto checked to Spragg once more. This time, she announced ''all in''. Otto asked for an exact count, and the dealer told him Spragg's stack was worth 27,500 chips. After some time in the tank Otto made the call, covering Spragg. Both players had to show their cards.

Marle Spragg: {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Ryan Otto: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

The ace-high hero call was good for Otto, as Spragg could not show anything higher than her jack-high. Spragg quickly left the tournament area while Otto remained on the table, stacking her chips.
