GG Spring Festival
GG Spring Festival

It's time to start a huge April, with the $150 million guaranteed GG Spring Festival. First up is H-03: $5,250 Bounty Hunters Main Event.

There are more then 100 events across the series, and most events have three versions. With buy-ins in the low, medium, and high range, there will be a game for every bankroll during this festival.

Today's event features $1.5 million guaranteed in the $5,250 single-day game. Action gets underway at 12:05 eastern time, and they'll play 20 minute blind levels to start the day.

There will be $2,500 on each side of this progressive bounty game, and 50% of the bounty is awarded immediately, while the other 50% is added to the winning player's bounty. Players have just under five hours to late-register to today's game, with registration closing at the end of Level 13. Unlimited re-entries are available during the late registration period, and the game speeds up to 15 minute blind levels after registration closes.

With just over an hour to go till cards go in the air, there are around 60 entries already with several big names in the mix. Among the early players looking for Bounty Hunter glory are GGPoker ambassadors Fedor Holz and Anatoly Filatov, as well as Mario Mosboeck, Bryan Paris, Patrick Leonard, Rui Ferreira, Chris Moorman, Dietrich Fast and Niklas Astedt.

Stay tuned here for action from the Bounty Hunters Main Event. PokerNews will be on the virtual floor from the first hand through the last to bring you all the exciting knockout action.

In the very first hand of the day, Barak Wisbrod opened things up from the middle with a raise to 1,839. "Alexyo!" reraised the cutoff to 5,442, but Gustavo "Astor" Mastelotto four-bet the button to 14,400.

The four-bet pushed everyone else off the pot, and Mastelotto took down a nice uncontested pot.

Jon Proudfoot raised under the gun to 1,839, then called after Anatoly Filatov raised to 6,166 from the middle. Proudfoot check-called the {5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop for 3,623, and they both checked the {10-Spades} turn, as well as the {3-Clubs} river.

Anatoly Filatov: {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Jon Proudfoot: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Board: {5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs}

Filatov was dominated but hit his deuce on the flop and never looked back
