Veloso's opponent checked to Veloso, who continued for 1,800 on the 4?Q?6? flop. His opponent check-raised to 5,000 and, undeterred, Veloso put enough chips in the middle to put his opponent all in for his last 12,500.

Veloso's opponent tanked a bit, but eventually opted to lay his hand down and Veloso showed the A?Q? one-by-one before collecting the pot.

Tedeschi continued for 2,600 on the 3?5?Q? flop and he was again called by both players.

The K? fell on the turn and Tedeschi checked to the player in the hijack, who bet 4,000. Essetel then raised to 15,000, which got a quick fold from Tedeschi and a fold from his remaining opponent after a lengthy tank.

Action checked to Dupre on the 5?J?6? flop and he continued for 1,300. Both of his opponents didn't take long to fold in turn and Dupre, well-known for his streaming career in League of Legends, took down the pot uncontested.

France Poker Series Aux-Les-Bains Main Event to Begin at 1 p.m.

The France Poker Series (FPS) hosted by PokerStars has returned to the Casino Grand Cercle in Aux-Les-Bains, where competitors from near and far have gathered to take their shot at poker glory in the €1,100 Main Event over the next several days.

Last year, France's own Alban Juen overcame a 475-entry field and put on a dominating performance to take down his first second FPS title along with the $94,512 first-place prize. More recently, Juen continued his hot streak by winning an $1,100 Wynn Summer Classic event in Las Vegas for a career-best $380,767 back in May.

Day 1a is set to begin at 1 p.m. local time, which represents the first of four starting flights across three days. Players will begin with 30,000 in chips and Level 1 will start with 100/100 blinds with a 100 big-blind ante. One reentry will be allowed during a player's initial flight and one additional reentry will be permitted in all subsequent flights, including the start of Day 2.

Levels will last 45-minutes each and play will suspend for the evening at the end of Level 14. Scheduled breaks will be announced after play has begun for the day. All players who bag at the end of the day will reconvene on Saturday, October 5 at 1 p.m. for Day 2.
