Best Friends Forever
It's no secret that Connor Drinan and Pratyush Buddiga are mates — the latter even told us yesterday they're workout buddies from time to time — still, as the old saying goes, "There are no friends in poker."
In a hand from last level, action folded to Buddiga on the button and he raised to 7,000. Drinan pushed back with a three-bet to 20,500 from the small blind, and after the player in the big folded, Buddiga made the call to see the 
flop. Drinan checked, and Buddiga thought for a few moments before moving all in for a little under 100,000. Drinan called.

turn was of no consequence, but the 
river was. Drinan spiked two pair and was pushed the robust pot.
"Sorry bud," Drinan offered.
Buddiga offered a halfhearted "good game" and then made a beeline for the exit.
