Gabel's Queens Fall to Quads
Vincent Gabel notched up his first European Poker Tour Main Event cash today, but he was unable to mount a comeback after having been short for quite a long time.
Gabel just raised before the flop and Kai Herold three-bet from the button to 32,000. The action folded back to Gabel who moved all in right away for 105,000 and Herold went into the tank.
"I think I'm way behind," Herold sighed.
"I think I have to call but you're the tightest guy at the table," Herold continued before ultimately throwing in the required chips for the call.
Herold was indeed behind showing but Gabel wasn't out of dodge yet with .
The flop brought and Herold picked up a pair of jacks after which the turn was the to give him three of a kind. Gabel needed a ten or a queen to stay alive on the river, but it was the to give Herold quads.
