Three Barrels from Kamar

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Jean-Noel Thorel raised to 200,000 and then flashed the {A-Diamonds}?{K-Hearts} after all opponents had folded.

One hand later, the Frenchman defended his big blind against a 130,000-raise of Fady Kamar and check-called a bet of 125,000 after the {3-Diamonds}?{Q-Clubs}?{8-Clubs} flop. After the {6-Clubs} turn it was yet another check-call for 175,000 and Thorel also checked the {9-Hearts} river. Kamar moved all in for 445,000 and the Frenchman tank-folded, dropping to the shortest stack of the four remaining players.

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Robin Ylitalo
Robin Ylitalo

Fady Kamar limped the button and when Robin Ylitalo completed the small blind Jean-Noel Thorel checked his option.

The flop of {q-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts} saw no action but on the turn card {3-Clubs} it was checked to Kamar who bet 77,000.

Ylitalo sprung a check-raise to 245,000 and Thorel folded. Kamar was left thinking about what Ylitalo was up t again. Whatever it was he couldnt stand the heat and promptly left the kitchen. Pot to Ylitalo.

Simunic With Two Pair

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Josip Simunic limped from under the gun and Robin Ylitalo called out of the small blind and Jean-Noel Thorel checked from the big blind. On the {Q-Clubs}?{A-Hearts}?{J-Hearts} flop all three players checked, Simunic then called a bet of 90,000 by Ylitalo on a {5-Clubs} turn. The Swede checked the {2-Diamonds} river and Simunic bet 320,000.

Ylitalo was sent into the think tank and one could hear "you might valuebet a better hand than me, better kicker" in table chat. The Swede made the call and then nodded when Simunic showed the winning {A-Spades}?{5-Spades}. Guess he was right about the kicker.

Ranges and Stack Sizes

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Play at the moment is all about stack sizes and ranges. One mistake and it could be all over so players are one the one hand being cautious but also looking out for good shoving spots.

Fady Kamar opened for 125,000 and Robin Ylitalo asked him how much he was playing before announcing all in. Kamar thought for several minutes, checking his hole cards a few times before shaking his head and mucking.

Slow Restart

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

In the first hand back after dinner, Fady Kamar limped from the small blind and Robin Ylitalo checked out of the big blind. On the {5-Spades}?{10-Hearts}?{10-Clubs} flop, Kamar bet 105,000 and was called by Ylitalo before checking down the {7-Hearts} turn and {2-Diamonds} river. Kamar's {Q-Clubs}?{8-Diamonds} ended up being second bst to the {K-Clubs}?{6-Spades} of the Swede.

The second hand had Josip Simunic limping, Ylitalo called in the small blind and Jean-Noel Thorel checked his option in the big blind. On the {7-Hearts}?{4-Spades}?{K-Spades} flop, the action folded to Simunic and he took down the pot with a small bet.

Fast forward one hand, Kamar min-raised to 120,000 and Simunic defended his big blind to see the flop of {K-Spades}?{5-Clubs}?{J-Diamonds}. Again no action and the {3-Diamonds} turn also went check-check before Simunic bet the {8-Spades} river and didn't have to show in order to claim the chips.

"I am so Bad"

Level 25 : 25,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Josip Simunic - Fady Kamar
Josip Simunic - Fady Kamar

Josip Simunic raised to 105,000 and Fady Kamar three-bet to 280,000 from one seat over. The Austrian took his time, then cut out chips for a four-bet while glancing over to his opponent in an attempt to catch a reaction. Simunic ultimately ended up folding, not without the words "I am so bad" though.

Kamar would take down another small pot after raising to 110,000 and getting called by Robin Ylitalo as well as Simunic in the big blind. All three players checked the {K-Clubs}?{K-Diamonds}?{9-Clubs} flop and Kamar's delayed continuation bet after the {3-Spades} turn worked.
