Haenraets Sucks Out In Huge Pot

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Bram Haenraets
Bram Haenraets

Bram Haenraets bet 75,000 on a flop of {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. He was in the cut-off and his opponent on the button, Nicholas Rampone, made the call. The turn card was the {3-Hearts} and now Haenraets elected to check. Rampone cut out a stack of yellow T25000 chips and slid out a bet of 400,000.

Haenraets went deep in the tank, slumped in his seat. The table was silent as he thought about his next move. What he came up with was all in. Rampone took a look back at his cards to make sure and made the call. Haenraets already knew he was in trouble and he covered his face with his hands when he saw the {j-Spades}{10-Hearts} of Rampone. Haenraets tabled his {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Haenraets was on the verge of being eliminated. That is until the river card {k-Clubs} gave him a better two pair. He was stunned and apologetic, repeatedly saying sorry to Rampone. Haenraets was fairly sanguine though saying he loved the game and should have been out himself a couple of times.
