Aleksejs Ponakovs raised to 100,000 in the hijack with the A?9? and Francesco Delfoco called one seat over with the A?10?, Eric Afriat also came along with the J?10? in the big blind.
The 8?2?2? flop was checked by Afriat and Ponakovs continued for 95,000. Delfoco raised to 450,000 and took it down right away.
Below are the updated counts of all 22 remaining contenders and their respective big blinds for the first level after the dinner break, which features blinds of 25,000/50,000 and a big blind ante of 50,000.
Mathias Siljander opened to 80,000 second to act before Sindre Hansen three-bet to 240,000 from the button. Siljander responded with a reraise to 560,000 and he called as the slightly bigger stack when Hansen five-bet jammed for 2,040,000.
Sindre Hansen: A?A?
Mathias Siljander: K?K?
It was the ultimate cooler and Hansen's rockets shot him up the chip counts after remaining best on the 10?8?7?10?A? runout.
Dimitar Danchev raised to 80,000 from under the gun and Peter Jorgne defended his big blind.
The pair then checked through the 6?8?7?K? runout before Danchev finally bet 75,000 on the Q? river, after a third check from Jorgne.
Jorgne spent some time before tossing in a call and Danchev sighed before showing A?4? for ace-high. Jorgne played a better ace-high with A?10? and raked in the pot.
Barny Boatman got away with a steal when he three-bet an Eric Afriat raise, holding just the 9?5?.
Francesco Delfoco limped the small blind with the A?5? and Cesar Garcia jammed for 895,000 with the K?9?. The Italian stared down his neighbor and folded.
One hand later, Delfoco raised the button to 85,000 with the J?9?. Farid Jattin was in the big blind with the A?3? and came along. The A?8?6? was all Jattin and he checked his top pair. Delfoco continued for 95,000 into 230,000 and Jattin called.
They headed to the 4? turn on which Delfoco picked up a flush draw. Delfoco fired another 275,000 and Jattin called once more.
The river brought the 9? on which Delfoco made an inferior pair only. They checked it down and Jattin earned a boost to his stack right before the dinner break.
Aleksejs Ponakovs made it 80,000 to go with the K?Q? from early position, Eric Afriat (2?2?) on the button and Ami Barer (8?6?) in the big blind called.
Afriat was still ahead with his mighty pair on the J?7?4? and it checked to him, he bet 100,000 and Ponakovs was the only caller. The 2? turn gave Afriat bottom set and he checked behind to see the A? on the river.
Ponakovs used one time bank and then bet 165,000 into 500,000. The bet size was barely confirmed by the dealer when Afriat had already moved all in, forcing out Ponakovs with his king-high.
