Barer and Danchev Pick Up Pots

Ami Barer raised to 21,000 with A?9? and Eliot Hudon stuck around holding the K?8? in the big blind. Hudon made the second pair on Q?8?7? and check-called for 17,000. He then bet the 5? turn for 21,000 and Barer went for a large raise to 140,000 to claim the pot.
Dimitar Danchev opened to 20,000 from under the gun with A?K?, which was flatted by Byron Kaverman with the A?Q? in the cutoff. Neither player connected with the 9?8?3? flop and Danchev checked, as did Kaverman, to see the 4? turn for free.
They checked once more to the K? river on which Danchev made top pair. He bet 45,000 and Kaverman hero-called with ace-high to lose a small portion of his stack.
