O'Dwyer Runs Into Greenwood's Set
Sam Greenwood raised to 3,000 on the button, Steve O'Dwyer three-bet to 12,500 in the small blind, and Greenwood called.
The flop came 5?K?6? and O'Dwyer continued for 7,000. Greenwood called.
The 2? fell on the turn and O'Dwyer bet 20,000. Greenwood again stuck around to see the 8? river, where O'Dwyer bet 62,000, leaving himself just one red 500 chip behind.
Greenwood moved all in and O'Dwyer tossed in his last chip. Greenwood showed him 5?5? for a set and O'Dwyer mucked A?K? before making his exit.
Thomas Boivin was also recently eliminated after Daniel Dvoress called his river all-in shove with aces and sixes. "Are you disappointed the ace came so you couldn't just call him with a six," tablemate Sam Grafton said.
"I wasn't calling turn to fold river," Dvoress replied.
