Reixach Puts Chamas In the Tank
Sergi Reixach raised to 5,000 from the cutoff and Rayan Chamas defended his big blind. On the 4?3?7? flop, Chamas led out for 3,500, which Reixach raised to 10,500.
That was not enough for Chamas, however, who reraised to 20,000. Reixach tossed in a call, leading to the 7? turn being dealt. Chamas sized down to 13,000, and another call followed from Reixach.
Chamas slowed down and checked the 2? river, after which Reixach tanked for a while before putting in 68,000 chips, leaving himself just 1,000 back. Chamas took his time to think things over, but after several minutes in the tank he reluctantly put in the call.
Reixach tabled A?7? for trip sevens, and Chamas could only nod his head as his cards hit the muck. He would be left with just under ten big blinds, which were lost not much later as well.
