Alexandre Correia Bags Lead at End of Day 1c
Day 1c of the �1,100 France Poker Series (FPS) Paris Main Event has been played to its conclusion here at the 2024 PokerStars European Poker Tour Paris at the Le Palais des Congr��s with Alexandre Correia emerging as the leader after bagging 895,000 in chips.
A whopping 1,208 players entered on Day 1c, and of those 181 advanced to Day 2. A prize pool of $2,360,640 has already been collected with a record-breaking 2,262 entries, surpassing 2023��s 2,071 entries with two more flights to go tomorrow, Friday, February 16, 2024.
2023 FPS Monte Carlo Main Event Champion Daisuke Ogita of Japan bagged the second largest stack, with a total of 675,000. Ogita started to pick up steam in the last few hours of the night, almost crossing the 500,000 mark in level 15 when he picked off a bluff from Soenke Jahn.
Also bagging a healthy stack is Conor Beresford who managed to secure 224,000 heading into Day 2. The English poker pro has already accumulated over $2,000,000 in live-tournament earnings and will be looking to add to that as he chases his first EPT title.

Other notables who made it to Day 2 include , Tamas Adamszki (302,000) and Daniel Smiljkovic (234,000), and Pokerstars ambassador Ramon Colillas (114,000).
Less fortunate players who fell short of the money include PokerStars ambassadors Benjamin Spragg, Alejandro Lococo, and Fintan Hand. As well as Pierre Calamusa, Maria Ho, Simon Wiciak, and Julien Sitbon.
Any players who didn't make it to Day 2 still have multiple chances as there are two starting flights left. The next starting flight is Day 1e, which will begin at 11 a.m. local time on Friday, February 16, and Day 1f at 6:00 p.m. Day 2 will commence on Saturday, February 17, at 12 noon.
