Holskyi Irks McMahon
Gareth McMahon opened to 20,000 from early position and received calls from Silviu Baltateanu in middle position, Konstantyn Holskyi in the cutoff and Javier Caballo in the big blind.
The 10?A?Q? flop was checked through to Holskyi, who put out a bet of 30,000. Caballo folded, but McMahon and Baltateanu called.
The Q? rolled off on the turn and action was checked to Holskyi, who put out a bet of 125,000. McMahon quickly and loudly announced "Fold!" and, after some thought, Baltateanu followed suit, flashing the A?.
As Holskyi was raking in the pot, an irritated McMahon said, after seeing Baltateanu's ace "I folded better, ace-king", then to Holskyi, "You have no bluff there, maybe jack-nine. Why do you keep bloating the pots, every pot, you may as well go all-in, its the same thing."
Holskyi seemed amused and said "I had fives".
