Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 150,000 ante
Boris Kolev
Boris Kolev

Action was on the river on a board of 2?4?10?K?A? and the pot was inflated and worth several hundred thousand chips already.

Oleg Eltsov fired out a bet worth around 250,000 and Boris Kolev moved all in with a little more. Konstantin Voronin was still to act and looked to be in a tough spot as he deliberated the call before finally plonking his chips in the middle.

Voronin had 4?4? for a set of fours, Eltsov turned over 5?3? for the wheel straight, and Kolev had Q?J? for the nut straight to win a huge pot and triple up his stack.

The Board Runs Out a Straight Flush

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 150,000 ante
Aren Bezhanyan
Aren Bezhanyan

The attention of PokerNews was drawn to Table 2 as the dealer announced, "All in and call!" with the board having been dealt 8?J?9?7?10?.

Lucas Seire: A?K? All in
Aren Bezhanyan: K?10?

Seire had seemingly flopped the nut flush, while Bezhanyan had also turned a straight. However, the board had run out a straight flush meaning the two players chopped the pot in the rarest way possible.

"Lucky, lucky boy!" announced Seire as he claimed his half of the pot.

Andras Nemeth

The action was caught as Andras Nemeth, in the hijack, was all in and at risk for his effective stack of 845,000, against Patrick Leonard, in middle position.

Andras Nemeth: Q?Q? All in
Patrick Leonard: A?5?

There was no sweat for Nemeth as the flop landed Q?2?Q?, giving him quads for an easy double-up. The 8? turn and 2? river changed nothing; Leonard quietly flipped his cards facedown and pushed them into the muck.

Level 21 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Matthias Lipp
Matthias Lipp

In what was a pretty insane moment in the Mystery Bounty event, Matthias Lipp picked out one of the $75,000 bounties just before the dinner break. He shouted, he cheered, then he went in to pull another. Lipp picked out a second $75,000 prize in a row, along with a $5,000 and a couple of $1,000s to give him over $150,000 in bounties.

Lipp has already earned almost as much as the second place finisher is set to earn.

During the dinner break, Alessandro Pichierri also pulled the last remaining $40,000 bounty.

Thiriart Takes Huge Pot From Goel to Take Chip Lead

Level 21 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Arthur Thiriart
Arthur Thiriart

Action was on the flop on a board of 5?2?9? and Stefano Pizzuti was already all in with his last few thousand in the middle postflop. Arthur Thiriart put in a big raise and Apoorva Goel called to create a side pot of around 220,000.

The turn was the 7? and Thiriart fired out a bet of 170,000. Goel then moved all in and Thiriart called all in for 576,000 total.

Goel had K?K? for an overpair, but Thiriart turned over 2?2? for a set of deuces and was way ahead, leaving Goel drawing to a king on the river.

The river came the 5? and Thiriart held to win a huge pot, sending Pizzuti to the rail and chipping up to over 1.2 million, putting him as the chip leader heading into the dinner break.

Chernikov Gets Punished for Celebrating Too Early

Level 20 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Arthur Thiriart
Arthur Thiriart

The action was caught as Arthur Thiriart, in the big blind, was all in and at risk for his effective stack of 133,000, against Aleksandr Chernikov, in early position.

Arthur Thiriart: A?10? All in
Aleksandr Chernikov: 3?2?

The 2?9?2? flop had Chernikov erupt from his chair in celebration as if he'd already claimed Thiriarts' mystery bounty token. The A? was one of the few cards that kept Thiriart alive, giving pause to Chernikov's antics.

The unlikely A? landed on the river giving Thiriart a full house to double up. Thiriart erupted in a similar degree of celebration as if to tease Chernikov. The table laughed in unison, telling Chernikov that he celebrated too early.

Hand One:

It was reported back to PokerNews that Patrick Leonard raised from early position, Lukas Zaskodny three-bet from middle position and Leonard responded with a four-bet. Zaskodny five-bet jammed for 285,000 and Leonard called.

Lukas Zaskodny: 10?10? All in
Patrick Leonard: A?K?

Fabian Schmidt raised from under the gun and Arthur Thiriart called in the big blind.

The flop came 8?A?3? and Thiriart checked. Schmidt made a bet, Thiriart raised, and Schmidt moved all in for 97,000. Thiriart made the call and when it came time to run the hand, players turned over their cards.

Schmidt had A?K? for a pair of aces, while Thiriart had 3?3? for a set of threes.

The turn came the 8? and river the J? and Thiriart held to win the pot, eliminating Schmidt on the bubble.
