Penultimate Opening Flight of Eureka Main Event Kicks off at 11 AM
Welcome back to the PokerStars European Poker Tour Cyprus, playing out at Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa, Cyprus. With four starting flights completed and just two remaining, the action continues today with Day 1e of the Eureka Main Event, which kicks off at 11 a.m. local time.
A combined 1,444 players were registered across the opening four flights and 214 made it into the money and onto tomorrow's Day 2. The current chip lead is Marian Virlanuta after he bagged up a huge stack of 1,156,000 from Day 1c. The only other play to so far breach a million is Mark Steven Smith, who came through Day 1d at the top of the pack with 1,050,000 chips.

Players will begin the day with 30,000 chips. Each blind level will last a slightly-faster 30 minutes, starting with blinds at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante. Late registration will stay open until the beginning of Level 11, which is as the dinner break concludes. Play will come to an end once 15% of the field is left, at this point, all remaining players will bag up their chips for Day 2 and be guaranteed at least a min-cash.
