Maue Spikes a Flush to Double Through Thorel

Leonard Maue opened the button to 40,000 and then called after Jean-Noel Thorel three-bet to 125,000 from the small blind.

On the 7?3?2? flop, Thorel open-jammed for 441,000 effective as the covering stack and Maue was displeased but he put in the call.

Thorel flopped bottom set but Maue had a flush draw. The 9? on the turn gave Maue the best hand and he faded the board pair on the A? river as he doubled at the expense of Thorel, who is now super short.
