Tzinis' Luck Runs Out as Wagner Picks Up Aces
Konstantinos Tzinis raised to 30,000 in the cutoff before Adam Wagner moved all in from the small blind. Tzinis called for his last 450,000 once action got back to him.
Konstantinos Tzinis: A?Q?
Adam Wagner: A?A?
While this hand was taking place, tablemate Niall Farrell suggested the shot clocks should be replaced by hourglasses. Maria Lampropulos then pointed out the problem with that idea.
"It was a good idea," Omar Eljach added.
"I didn't think through the mechanics of it," Farrell replied.
The board ran out 4?6?3?3?7? and Wagner's aces sent Tzinis off to the payout desk. Farrell, meanwhile, was still talking about his hourglass idea.
"Imagine you're in a big pot and you're just watching the grains of sand run down. The sands of time have spoken," he said.
