Astedt's Turn to Shove
Level 3
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Kayhan Mokri raised to 3,500 in the hijack before Niklas Astedt three-bet to 12,000 in the cutoff. "I thought we were friends," Mokri said before he folded.
The next hand, Tamas Adamszki raised to 3,500 under the gun and Astedt called in the hijack, as did Tsugunari Toma in the big blind.
The flop came J?9?K? and Adamszki continued for 4,500. Astedt called, but Toma put in a raise to 19,000.
Adamszki called and Astedt then moved all in for 93,500. Toma gave it some thought before folding, while Adamszki quickly folded as Astedt took the pot and showed the A?.
"Well done, Niklas. If I didn't know better, it was the first time you bluffed in your life," Mokri said.
