Expensive Mistake for Peretti
Michel Peretti opened to 45,000 from the hijack but saw Agostino Ascone raise to 105,000.
"One-five," said the dealer. So, Peretti, who almost doesn't speak English and didn't see the exact amount of the raise, put 150,000 in front of him to call. However, this "one-five" was too much to call. After the floor was called, he was forced to raise to 165,000.
Seeing this mistake, Ascone took the opportunity to raise all in for 725,000. Peretti snap-called.
Michel Peretti: A?K?
Agostoni Ascone: A?A?
Peretti mentioned that if he had called, he could have folded on the 9?2?4? flop, the J? turn, or the 7? river. But here, he had to give almost all his stack to Ascone.
At the same table, Pablo Silva and Patrick Beuter both have more than 2,000,000 chips.
