Mahonen Hates His Hand
Level 1
: Blinds 100/100, 100 ante
Lucjan Jankowski kicked off the action with a raise to 300 from the cutoff. Pascal Frezza then made the call from the button before Jari Mahonen bumped it up to 1,400 from the small blind. The action folded back to Jankowski, who put in the call while Frezza got out of the way.
The flop fell 3?10?10? and Mahonen checked to Jankowski, who made a bet of 2,000 chips, which Mahonen called. Both players then checked on the 4? turn before the K? river completed the board.
Mahonen checked once more, after which Jankowski fired a big bet of 7,000. Mahonen quickly called, but mucked his cards once he saw the A?K? of his opponent, who had rivered two pair.
"I hate playing jacks," Mahonen added after the hand.
