After an extended Day 2 at the 2023 PokerStars European Poker Tour Paris, there will be 11 players returning to the felt for the final day of the 50,000 EPT Super High Roller. A total of 68 entries were recorded in this event which generated a prize pool of 3,198,720 but only nine players will grab a piece of the pie.

Leading the way heading into Day 3 is maybe the most unknown player of them all in Jules Dickerson. The self-proclaimed "washed-up poker pro" according to his Twitter bio, amassed a whopping stack of 3,790,000. It wasn't just any specific hand that shot Dickerson up the leaderboard as opposed to a slow build throughout the day.

Dickerson can often be found playing some high-stakes cash games but has made his way to the French capital specifically to play in this high-roller tournament. Following closely behind him is Juan Pardo who bagged up a stack of 2,435,000 after a late really including multiple double-ups. Rounding out the top three is local poker player Gregoire Auzoux who claimed a big double-up on the last hand of the night to accumulate the majority of his chips.

Some more household names to keep an eye on heading into the final day include Chris Brewer (1,640,000), Steve O'Dwyer (1,410,000), and Thomas Muehloecker (1,280,000). One of the short stacks to keep an eye on is Pedro Marques (640,000) who is coming off a recent fifth-place finish at the PokerStars Players Championship in the Bahamas. Marques recorded his first-ever seven-figure score and will be looking to add to his resume when tomorrow rolls around.

The day began with 33 players returning to their seats after bagging chips on Day 1. However, with late registration still open until the start of the day, an additional 10 players joined the field, bringing the total number of entries up to 68. Although a fresh stack of chips was worth more than 40 big blinds, it didn't take long for the action to heat up and the players to start dropping.

A couple of the late entries that fell by the wayside in the early going included Jonathan Jaffe, Kannapong Thanarattrakul, and Rui Ferreira. PokerStars ambassador Sam Grafton also failed to get anything going today and bowed out at the midway mark.

In one of the largest pots of the day, Ben Heath vaulted to the top of the leaderboard halfway through Day 2. Heath spiked two pair and got a full double up at the hands of Nikita Kuznetsov but it wasn't enough as the British poker pro became the last person to hit the rail on Day 2.

When the action resumes at 12:30 p.m. local time tomorrow, there will unfortunately be two players heading home empty-handed. Only nine players will make it into the money with a min-cash being worth 92,800 and the winner taking home a cool 959,520. Here is a look at the full list of payouts for the final table:
