Welcome to Day 1b of the �5,300 Main Event at the 2023 PokerStars European Poker Tour Paris. Cards go in the air at 12 p.m. local time for the second and final flight in the flagship event of the event.

Omar Gonzalez leads a returning field of 221 players from a total of 661 entries in the opening flight. Day 1a generated a prize pool of �3,172,800, and with 581 players registered for Day 2 so far the total now sits at �5,971,200. Gerard Carbo and Patrik Jaros rounded out the top three, while Adrian Mateos also found his way into the top ten.

Players will start with 30,000 chips in the opening level with blinds at 100/100 with a 100 ante. The play for Day 1b is to play ten 60-minute levels with 20-minute breaks every two. There is a scheduled dinner break after Level 6 and it will be 75 minutes. The surviving players will bag up their chips at the end of the night and return on Wednesday for Day 2.
