Labryga's Stack Keeps Growing

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Jean Labryga
Jean Labryga

Jean Labryga came into Day 2 as overall chipleader and today has not been faring any worse for him so far.

In a pot against Thijs Dirkzwager, Labryga bet 22,000 from the small blind on the board of {6-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}. On the button, Dirkzwager mulled it over for a couple of minutes until Labryga called the clock. The floor came over and gave Dirkzwager 30 seconds to make his decision.

Dirkzwager used this time to try and get some information out of his opponent by asking him if he would show if Dirkzwager folded. Labryga shook his head, and Dirkzwager had to forfeit his hand.

Labryga kept his word and did indeed not show his hand, but later claimed that he had a full house.
