No Smooth Sailing for Kyte

Jon Kyte started today with a healthy stack, but it had dwindled down to about 60,000 chips. He was sitting in the small blind and in an effort to increase that number, flat-called an open from button Ionut Decher. Big blind Milen Stefanov also came along and the trio were off to the flop.
The 8?8?10? checked around, as did the 3? turn. On the 10? river, Kyte bet 40,000, leaving himself a single T-1,000 chip behind. Stefanov quickly got out of the way and, after some deliberation, so did Decher. He showed the K? out of courtesy, enkindling a smile from Kyte.
