Badziakouski Gets Off the Felt
Level 22
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
A dispute arose over who should be the big blind to begin heads-up play after the double knockout. Tournament director Toby Stone had to be called over, and it was ruled Albert Daher would begin with the button.
Daher then limped in and Mikita Badziakouski checked his option. The flop came 7?6?K? and Daher bet 60,000.
Badziakouski took his time before calling to the Q? turn, where Daher bet another 60,000. Badziakouski again called and both players checked the 5? river.
Badziakouski turned over Q?3? for a turned pair of queens and Daher mucked.
"It's weird we played three streets and we're five BBs deep," Badziakouski said.
"How do you call the f**king flop," Daher wondered.
"I had backdoors," Badziakouski replied.
