Deuce On The River For Talbot
After Zhou's double up, Parker Talbot, a.k.a. "Tonka" knew he was forced to go all-in from the big blind, as he only had enough chips to pay it. "We can pay the bubble," he said, waiting for the next hand to start.
The dealer distributed the cards and Gassar Bitar decided to limp from early position. Dario Sammartino in the cutoff three-bet all-in for almost 700,000 chips, making Bitar fold.
"You want me to double," joked "Tonka" while high-fiving Sammartino, before they both revealed their cards.
Parker Talbot: 4?2?
Dario Sammartino: A?8?
A large crowd gathered around the table and watched as the dealer fanned a flop of 7?7?Q?, which didn't change anything in the situation. Talbot was on the edge of elimination after the 6? came on the turn.
"Deuce, deuce, deuce," he asked for the river. His request was heard because the 2? landed on the felt, giving him a pair and allowing him to double up.
"Dario! Dario! Dario!" sang Tonka to celebrate, before moving on to the next hand.
