Day 1c Of The $1,100 Eureka Main Event Kicks Off At 11 a.m.
After Day 1a and Day 1b, it's time for the final two flights of the $1,100 Eureka, the first Main Event of the PokerStars European Poker Tour Cyprus at Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa.
Over the first two flights, 163 players qualified for Day 2 out of a field of 1,083 entrants. On Day 1a, it was Alexandr Dusco who finished as the chipleader with 696,000 chips. He was closely followed by Milen Stefanov and his 676,000 chips.
But the overall chip lead so far is for Carl Shaw. After Day 1b, the 2023 EPT Barcelona finalist bagged 703,000 chips, ahead of Eros Calderone (604,000), Azizjon Rakhimov (521,000), and Steve O'Dwyer (487,000).

On Day 1a, Jason Wheeler (527,000), Ian Hamilton (461,000), Florian Guimond (349,000), Lucien Cohen (227,000), Kully Sidhu (195,000) or Jack Sinclair (108,000) also qualified for Day 2. This was also the case for Simone Andrian (222,000), Tinay Aksoy (106,000) and Jessica Teusl (22,000) after Day 1b.
Today, Friday, October 13, players must wake up earlier to play Day 1c as it starts at 11 a.m. This third flight will be the same as Day 1a : a starting stack of 30,000 chips, 40-minute levels, a 20-minute break every three levels, 10 levels of late registrations (approximately 6:40 p.m., after a 75-minute dinner break), and an end to the day when 15% of the field remains. All players who qualified for Day 2 will be in the money.
There will also be a last opportunity to reach the money with Day 1d at 6 p.m., with 20-minute levels.
