Five-Deuce Is Good For Lin
Level 3
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Daniel Ghionoiu opened to 1,100 from the hijack and was called by Erik Seidel in the cutoff. Ren Lin defended his big blind, and a 2?3?7? flop landed on the table.
Ghionoiu made a continuation bet of 2,100, and Seidel folded. Lin looked at his chips and check-called.
"What do you want? A deuce?" asked Lin. "Yes," said Ghionoiu. But it's the 8? that came on the turn. Ghionoiu asked for 4,000 chips more, and once again, Lin, talkative as always, called.
The river card was the 9?, and Lin quickly moved all in for 10,100 chips. Ghionoiu folded, and Lin revealed 5?2? for a simple pair of deuces.
