Mateos and Staahle Get Into One

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Kent Staahle and Adrian Mateos are two of the largest stacks in the tournament and they happen to be sitting on the same table now. Staahle opened to 45,000 from under the gun and Mateos re-raised to 160,000 from the small blind. Staahle quickly called and they went heads-up to a flop of {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

Mateos led out with a bet of 90,000 and Staahle raised to 200,000. Mateos called and the {8-Spades} landed on the turn. Mateos checked to Staahle who bet 200,000 again only to have Mateos check-raised to 520,000. Staahle burned through two of his time banks before finally releasing his cards.

"I'll let you have this one," Staahle said. "But I don't think you have the king."
