Cardot Takes Two Pots

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Yannick Cardot opened to 90,000 and Alejandro Romero defended the big blind. The {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop was checked and the {k-Hearts} followed on the turn. Romero checked once more and Cardot bet 90,000 to win the pot right there.

Erkan Soenmez then raised to 90,000 from under the gun and Cardot called to see a flop of {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. The Frenchman check-called a bet worth 110,000 and both then checked it down on the {2-Clubs} turn and {3-Spades} river.

Soenmez flashed the {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and Cardot won the pot with {q-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a pair of deuces.
