Roy Wins a Massive Pot Without Showdown
Level 11
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Stanislav Halatenko and Jonathan Roy were involved in a massive pot on the river with the board showing when Halatenko bet 10,000 from under the gun.
Roy, from the cutoff, raised all in and Halatenko went into the tank. The clock was eventually called, but before tournament officials could arrive to start the countdown Halatenko tossed his cards away.
According to tablemate Federico Quevedo Diaz, Halatenko raised pre-flop and got four callers, including Roy. Action checked to Roy on the flop and he bet 6,000, with everyone calling. Halatenko led out for 13,500 on the turn and only Roy called.
