Estrellas Poker Tour Makes a Return to Barcelona Today at Noon
After a six-year hiatus, the Estrellas Poker Tour returns to Barcelona as part of the PokerStars and Barcelona?Casino European Poker Tour festival beginning at noon local time.
The �1,100 Main Event was last part of EPT Barcelona in 2016, when Frenchman Mohamed Samri prevailed over a field of 3,447 players and a final table that also included Chris Moorman to win �353,220. Other past winners include Argentines Mario Javier Lopez and Matias Ruzzi, as well as German Soenke Jahn.
Day 1a is the first of six starting flights that will take place inside Casino Barcelona over the next three days. Players will begin with 30,000 chips and play 40-minute levels. The day will conclude when 15 percent of the field remains, with all the surviving players in the money. Day 2 will pick up at the earliest level from the Day 1 flights.
With players allowed two entries per flight, a massive field and prize pool is expected. The PokerNews live reporting team will be on hand proving all the updates until a champion is crowned on August 14.
