Lau Takes Down a Multiway Pot

Level 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Ka Kwan Lau
Ka Kwan Lau

Ka Kwan Lau opened from early position to 1,000 and picked up calls from Danilo Velasevic and Jacob Amsellem both in middle position. The rest of the table folded around to Andrew Hulme who called in the big blind.

The four players saw the monotone flop of {10-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and all checked through to the {2-Clubs} turn. Hulme opted to lead out for 3,600, original raiser Lau called and the rest of the table folded.

The river brought the {3-Diamonds} and with four diamonds on board Hulme slowed down and checked over to Lau who took the initiative and bet 6,500. Hulme pondered his options for a few moments before folding and leaving Lau to take down the pot without showdown.
