Kobbelvedt Leaves Guilbert on Crumbs

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Johan Guilbert
Johan Guilbert

There was a massive pot brewing between Alexander Kobbeltvedt and Johan Guilbert on Table 3 with the board reading {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. Kobbelvedt was all in on the turn for a little over 70,000 and Guilbert was in the tank for a couple of minutes.

Eventually, the clock was called and Guilbert was forced to make a decision. Guilbert called with the larger of the two stacks and Kobbelvedt was at risk with {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. Luckily for him, the {6-Clubs} completed the board to give the Norwegian a straight who started shouting some Norwegian bullocks throughout the room.

After returning to his seat, Kobbelveldt had calmed down and had a pile of chips that needed to be stacked, whereas Guilbert was left with a minuscule 1,500 chips.
