Flights Combine for Day 2 of ��1,100 UKIPT Main Event
Day 2 of the ��1,100 UKIPT Main Event at the PokerStars European Poker Tour London has arrived, where survivors of four opening flights will combine for the first time at the Hilton Park Lane.
A large field of 1,458 entries created a prize pool totaling ��1,399,680, with just 218 players remaining after each Day 1 played down into the money before bagging for the night.
In the end, the overall chip leader from the opening flights was Andras Nemeth, pacing the field with 615,000 chips. Other Day 1 chip leaders include Kayhan Mokri, David Gassian and Vladas Tamasauskas.
Many notables names are still in contention for the title, including Martin Jacobson and Jack Sinclair, along with PokerStars Ambassadors Parker Talbot, Benjamin Spragg, and Sebastian Huber.
Day 2 begins at noon local time, with 36 minutes remaining in Level 17 at blinds of 3,000/6,000 with a 6,000 big blind ante. The levels will now be 60 minutes long, with a 20-minute break scheduled after every two levels of play.
