Kim Takes the Lead From Glowny

Symeon Alexandridis raised to 325,000 with the {k-Clubs}{q-Spades} from under the gun and Andrea Cortellazzi defended the {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} in the big blind. The Italian checked the {j-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Alexandridis continued for 200,000 to win the pot right there.

Gab Yong Kim then raised to 325,000 with the {q-Hearts}{9-Spades}, earning a call from chip leader Grzegorz Glowny in the big blind with {5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. Both held a piece on the {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{5-Spades} flop and Glowny check-called for 200,000 with Glowny then finding a wheel draw on the {3-Hearts} turn. Glowny checked once more, Kim bet 550,000 and his opponent stuck around.

The {3-Spades} river paired the board and Glowny knuckled it down, as did Kim to win the pot and take over the lead.

Glowny Loses A Small Bunch of Chips; Alexandridis Chips Up

Grzegorz Glowny raised to 325,000 with the {k-Clubs}{q-Spades} on the button and Andrea Cortellazzi three-bet to 1,230,000 with the {4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} in the big blind to win the pot.

Glowny then raised to 325,000 with the {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and earned a call from Symeon Alexandridis, holding the {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} in the big blind. The {6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop was checked and Alexandridis led the {9-Hearts} turn for 300,000, which Glowny called. After the {8-Diamonds} river, Alexandridis made two pair and bet 1,000,000 to win the pot.

Gab Yong Kim then raised to 325,000 with the {k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Alexandridis used a time bank in the small blind before three-betting to 850,000 with {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. Kim gave it some thought and folded.

Andrea Cortellazzi called from the small blind with {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and Symeon Alexandridis checked his option from the big blind with {j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

The flop was {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} and both players checked to see {8-Diamonds} on the turn.

Cortellazzi checked and Alexandridis bet 160,000. Cortellazzi called and the river was {2-Diamonds}.

Glowny Takes from Cortellazzi, Nears 15 Million

Kim Catches Alexandridis Bluffing

Symeon Alexandridis made it 325,000 to go with the {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Gab Yong Kim came along in the big blind with the {8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. The {j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop was checked by both and Kim also checked his open-ender on the {k-Hearts} turn. Alexandridis bet for just 275,000 and Kim called to then hit the straight on the {9-Hearts} river.

Kim made it 500,000 to go and Alexandridis took a stab at the pot with a bluff, opting for a raise to 1,500,000 with 2,380,000 behind. Two time bank extension were used by Kim and he then called to drag in a very healthy pot, sending Alexandridis on a short stack of just 14 blinds.

Armin Rezaei then pushed all-in for 4,960,000 out of the big blind with the {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and Glowny asked for a count. He then called and Kim got out of the way.

The dominated ace was in need of help for a pot of nearly 10.5 million but Rezaei found no help on the {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{10-Hearts} to bow out in 6th place, worth a payday of �181,800.

PokerStars qualifier Glowny leaped into the top spot with five players remaining.
