The final day of EPT Online 17: $2,100 PLO [6-Max] is set to begin at 7:05 p.m. GMT with 38 players returning from the original 286 entry field to battle it out for a piece of the $572,000 prize pool that was created. Leading the way is Rob "batoelrob" Hollink who will be sitting on top with a 1,758,500 stack.
Some other large stacks to start the day include Laszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas (1,567,406), Pokerstars Team Online Pro Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis (1,365,805), "ZhipOHoy" (1,250,206), and Marcin "cladarth" Pszenniak (1,180,161). Veldhuis is highlighting the final runners of this tournament and will be someone to look for as this event draws near to an end.
A different playstyle will be afoot for many on Day 2 as the tournament will be starting just three away from the money. The bubble brings out the best and worst in players, having some loosen up as others get about as tight as one could play. Once the bubble pops all remaining players will then be guaranteed at least a $4,796 min-cash with the eventual winner pulling in $109,181 for their efforts.
The final day will resume on level 19 with blinds of 7,000/14,000 and as always there will be no ante throughout the PLO event. A five-minute break will happen every 55-minutes past the hour and play will not commence until a champion is crowned.
The PokerNews live reporting team will be bringing all of the live updates to you, so stay tuned as the action unfolds.
