The final countdown is underway for all players interested to take a shot at the seven-figure prize pool in the inaugural 2020 PokerStars EPT Online $5,200 Main Event and several dozen have already opted to buy in, boosting the field of 371 Day 1 survivors out of a field of 1,182 entries.

None of the late entries until 1.05 p.m. EST will be even remotely close to the monster stack that belongs to PokerStars ambassador Fintan "easywithaces" Hand, who sits at the top of the leaderboard with 2,899,772. Estonia's "DingeBrinker" is close behing with 2,835,654 followed by "P0KERPR02.0" (2,784,244), and other notables in the overnight top 10 include Jakob "Succeeed" Miegel (2,498,678.

Further big stacks belong to the likes of Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle (2,362,038), Will "hellzito" Arruda (2,360,143), PokerStars ambassador Ramon "RamonColillas" Colillas (2,175,079) and Claas "ssicK_OnE" Segebrecht (2,165,596).

Also in contention are the PokerStars ambassadors Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis (941,880), Kalidou "KalidouSow" Sow (596,860), Felix "xflixx" Schneiders (235,224), and Ben "Spraggy" Spragg (186,500). Furthermore, in a field filled with the biggest names in the international poker scene, PokerNews EPT4Charity competition winner Jay "Blackoid" Kennedy returns with a stack of 267,334 and will donate 10% of his winnings to CLIC Sargent UK.

The registration closes at 1.05 p.m. Eastern Standard Time and the action then recommences five minutes later with blinds of 6,000-12,000 and a running ante of 1,500. Day 2 will burst the money bubble and then carry on to play down to the final 72 contenders with levels lasting 30 minutes each.

As of Day 2 and until the end of the $5,200 Main Event, the action will also be broadcasted on the PokerStars YouTube and Twitch channels with cards-up coverage and commentary on a delay of 30 minutes. As a result, all PokerNews updates for the remainder of the tournament will be published on the same delay.
