Gieles Falls to Livshitz, Baumann Knocks Out Krieger

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Two coin flips at the adjacent tables 1 and 2 happened at the same time and spelled the end for two players. First to go was Dutchman Pim Gielis, who shoved all in for 140,000 on the button after Dan Serban Borlan had raised from middle position.

Gaby Livshitz came over the top from the small blind and Borlan folded.

Pim Gieles: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Gaby Livshitz: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Livshitz held on an {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} board to send Gielis packing. Meanwhile, on Table 6, Baumann had called off Krieger's shove for 104,000 total.

Sven Krieger: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Gaelle Baumann: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

The {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop was perfect for Krieger but the {9-Spades} on the turn drew an "oof" from table mate Michael Soyza, as Baumann locked it up on the spot. The river was the {10-Spades} and Krieger followed Gieles to the payout desk.
