Higgs and Castaignon Collide In Another Massive Pot
Level 22
: 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Not long ago, Sam Higgs had tripled up with a short stack after he lost a big pot to Remi Castaignon. Since then, Higgs moved back to a big stack and now won an enormous pot to take revenge on Castaignon in a setup hand.
Higgs had raised from the cutoff and Castaignon called on the button to see the flop, on which Higgs bet 65,000 and Castaignon called. On the turn, Higgs check-raised from 230,000 to 500,000 and Castaignon came along to see the on the river.
Higgs now took some time before announcing a bet of 1,000,000 with some chips behind and Castaignon quickly called. The Aussie flipped over and Castaignon mucked for a flopped full house that fell behind on the turn.
