Day 2 of the �25,000 EPT High Roller Resumes at 12:30 p.m.
It was a busy opening day to one of the last high rollers on the schedule for the 2019 PokerStars and Monte-Carlo Casino EPT festival. The �25,000 EPT High Roller saw a total of 132 entries take to the felt and late registration will remain open until the cards go in the air today for the start of Day 2.
There are plenty of familiar names at the top of the leaderboard and Canadian Mike Watson leads them all heading into competition today. Watson will return to a stack of 311,500, inching ahead of Vasily Klyukhin (302,500), fellow Canadian Luc Greenwood (301,500), and David Dayan (300,000).
When the action resumes at 12:30 p.m. local time, there will be at least 56 players still remaining. For any players still wishing to enter the field, they will be given a starting stack of 50,000 chips. The blinds will resume at 1,000/2,000 with a big blind ante of 2,000.
The levels will continue to be 60-minute in length with a 20-minute break after every two levels. There will also be a 75-minute dinner break after the sixth level of the day. A total of 10 levels are on the schedule for today with a winner officially being crowned tomorrow.
